About Flute Fest

We look forward to a flute-filled day of concerts and activities for all ages.  This year's flute fest will have a special focus on the “outliers” of the flute – the piccolo and low flutes!  We will also hold sessions about performance health and wellness – including yoga for flutists and Alexander Technique classes.

Our guest artist this year will be Sarah Jackson, piccoloist with the Los Angeles Philharmonic!  Her performance and master class are being generously sponsored by Keefe Piccolos.

We are excited to again present the Laudie PorterYoung Artist, and Masterclass Competitions, as well as Flute Choirs and Midwest Flutists concerts.  Students are also invited to perform in the Rising Stars non-competitive solo and ensemble festival.
