Performance Opportunities

Rising Stars Festival - for flutists of all ages.  Students perform solo and ensemble pieces in a friendly, non-competitive environment at the annual UMFA flute festival.  They receive a certificate of participation and constructive comments from a professional flutist.

Suzuki Flute Choir - for students of all levels.  Students will have opportunities to premiere new flute choir works in the 2015 Marathon Concert, Flute Choir Showcase, and Flute Fest.

Honors Flute Choir - for outstanding Junior and Senior High School students.  Students must audition to participate in the choir.  Selected students rehearse together for a day and perform a concert for family and friends.

UMFA Parlor Concerts - for all ages and levels.  UMFA members perform for a small, friendly audience in concerts hosted at peoples' homes.  Performances are usually followed by delicious food and a flute choir reading session!

Check out our Summer Flute/Music Camps page for more performance opportunities.
