Wayzata Community Church - 125 Wayzata Boulevard East
The Upper Midwest Flute Association welcomes special guest Ann Cameron Pearce to the 5th annual UMFA Flute Choir Showcase! She is a flute performer and teacher who resides in Raleigh, North Carolina where she is flute instructor at St. Mary's School. She is also co-founder of both the Raleigh Area Flute Association and the Raleigh Flute Choir.
Both an arranger and composer of music, Ann has over 40 published works under the ALRY, Falls House Press, and High Meadow publishers. She has some absolutely beautiful arrangements of songs such as In the Bleak Midwinter, I Wonder as I Wander, We Three Kings of Orient Area and the Wexford Carol. She also has composed several pieces that are clever and challenging such as Serendipity.
We eagerly anticipate Ann's participation in this year's Showcase. The day will include a workshop on composing/ar ranging and using percussion supplementation. She will also offer coaching for groups that would like to take advantage of her expertise. There will still be performances by area flute ensembles, lunch, vendors, and most importantly fellowship!

- Stay Right & turn Right at next Stoplight for Wayzata Boulevard East
- Continue through another Stoplight on Wayzata Boulevard East
- Just past Wayzata Middle School West & before four-way stop at Ferndale Road, turn Right into Parking Lot Entrance for Wayzata Community Church. Parking is FREE.
