Featured Artist: Mathieu Dufour
Mathieu Dufour, currently principal flute for the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, will be the guest artist for the 2007 Flute Fest. For more information on Mr. Dufour, please see his CSO biography.
Auditions to perform in the Mathieu Dufour master class at Flute Fest on November 17 will be held on November 11 at Mayflower Church, 106 East Diamond Lake Road, Minneapolis, MN 55419.
Auditions will be scheduled between 3 and 5 PM. No accompanist is required for the audition and an accompanist will be provided for Flute Fest.
To apply for an audition, please send your name, address, level (student, adult, etc.) and the name of your piece to masterclassaudition@umfaflutes.org. A fee of $30 may be paid on the day of the audition.
If you live more than 50 miles from Minneapolis, you may submit a tape or CD in lieu of an in-person audition. Please include your name, address, level (student, adult, etc.) and the name of your piece with your recording. Please include the $30 audition fee.
All materials must be received by November 9 for consideration by the master class audition judges.

For current members, you may register without renewal by sending an e-mail to ffreg@umfaflutes.org with your name and membership number.
