Registration

Flute Fest is free for UMFA members. To check the status of your membership, use the membership lookup.

Attendees are encouraged to pre-register, as well as renew or join UMFA, prior to Flute Fest.

1. If you are joining or renewing, please indicate that you are registering for Flute Fest on your submitted membership form.

2. If you are a current member and would like to register for Flute Fest without renewing, send a message to flutefest@umfaflutes.org including your membership number.

3. If you are not a member but would like to attend Flute Fest, send a message to flutefest@umfaflutes.org including your full name and entrance fee:

Box Lunch

Box lunches can be purchased prior to Flute Fest. Complete the box lunch form and return with payment to UMFA by Friday, October 31. Email registrations will be accepted until November 3; payment should be made by 11 AM on the day of Flute Fest. A limited number of lunches may be available for purchase at Flute Fest.

Master Class Auditions
Auditions to perform in the Mimi Stillman master class at Flute Fest on November 8 will be held on October 26 at Mayflower Church, 106 East Diamond Lake Road, Minneapolis, MN 55419.

Auditions will be scheduled between 3 and 5 PM. No accompanist is required for the audition and an accompanist will be provided for Flute Fest.

To apply for an audition, please send your name, address, level (student, adult, etc.) and the name of your piece to masterclassaudition@umfaflutes.org. A fee of $20 may be paid on the day of the audition.

If you live more than 50 miles from Minneapolis, you may submit a tape or CD in lieu of an in-person audition. Please include your name, address, level (student, adult, etc.) and the name of your piece with your recording. Please include the $20 audition fee.

All materials must be received by October 24 for consideration by the master class audition judges. Download the master class audition form.
