Songs from the land of Fire, Azerbaijani Flute Music
Songs From the Land of Fire is a program covering 70 years of musical compositions, including those by women, for the flute and piano from Azerbaijan. Featuring the US premieres of all but one piece, this program showcases repertoire written to invoke the style of traditional Azerbaijani folk music, mugam.
