UMFA is excited to welcome Patrick Tsuji as the featured Guest Artist for Flute Fest 2025!

Patrick Tsuji was appointed second flute of the Minnesota Orchestra in 2022 by Music Director Thomas Søndergård. He previously held the position of assistant principal flute with the Omaha Symphony from 2019-2022. He was also a member of the Civic Orchestra of Chicago.

Tsuji has participated in music festivals such as Yellow Barn, Pacific Music Festival, Music Academy of the West, Spoleto Festival USA, National Repertory Orchestra and Aspen Music Festival. He was a top prizewinner of the National Flute Association Young Artist Competition in 2016. He received his master’s degree from Rice University and bachelor’s degree from Carnegie Mellon University. Tsuji has studied with Jeanne Baxtresser and Leone Buyse.

  • Adult Member – $40
  • Senior Member (ages 55 and over) – $35
  • Student Member - $25
  • Non-Member - $60
  • Volunteer - $30 
    (Volunteer for 90 minutes at Flute Fest for a reduced entry fee. Our volunteer coordinator will contact you to schedule a shift.)

*Register by April 12th to receive advance registration pricing. Registration fees will increase by $10 on the day of the event.

For Exhibitors

The exhibit hall will be open from 9:00 am to 4:30 pm. The fee for exhibitors is $50 (includes one 8-foot table). Additional tables are available for $25. You can register and pay for space at: https://www.umfaflutes.org/corporatepartners
