About the Marathon Flute Concert
In spring 2015, the UMFA board created a new scholarship program to support local flute students in their musical studies. We invited all flutists to help us kick off the fundraising effort by participating in a Marathon Flute Concert at the Mall of America (Sears Court) on Saturday, January 31st from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm. We successfully raised more than $2500 for our scholarship program, and we are still receiving donations!
We are proud to announce our third marathon concert on Saturday, October 28th, 2017 to continue funding UMFA's scholarship program.
Here was our 2016 Schedule of Performers.
Thank you so much to all of our performers, volunteers, and donors for your support, participation, and generosity.
Join us for the 2017 Marathon Concert!
