NEW EVENT IN 2022!
An interactive series of flute workshops featuring local professional flute teachers. Events will include a warm-up class, performance masterclass, MMEA All-State scale and etude workshop. Youth Flute Day workshops are geared towards high school flutists of various playing abilities. The day's events are also appropriate for serious middle school flutists and undergraduate non-music major students.
Masking and vaccination/testing requirements apply to all in-person events.
UMFA will continue to monitor the COVID situation and update policies and format as appropriate.

9:20–10:10 AM Ornaments class with Kara Swanson
10:10 AM–10:30 PM Snack Break
10:30–12:00 All-State Scale & Etude Workshop with Vanamali Medina
12:00–1:00 PM Student Masterclass with Rachel Haug
