Join UMFA for a concert featuring local flute choirs and celebrating the important role they play in the local flute community! This event is an opportunity for flute choir directors and members to network with other ensembles as well as hearing new music that they may want to bring to their own repertoire. We highly encourage and expect performers to stay as audience participants for other ensemble's performances throughout the day. Alongside the Showcase Concert, this event will feature a Flute Choir Sight Reading Session led by Janice Parker. This concert is free and open to the public.
Deadline for Flute Choir Performer Registration is Saturday, January 25th.
Free will donations are always greatly appreciated and will be accepted in advance or at the door. All donations can be designated for either our scholarship fund or the general operating fund and help UMFA to continue providing meaningful events and support for our members. Donations can be made here.
