The Upper Midwest Flute Association, Inc. is pleased to announce the winners of the 23rd annual Laudie Porter Competition. This year over $2,000 in prizes were awarded to the finalists. Congratulations to all the fine musicians who participated in this year’s competition and to our seven winners:

7th-8th Grade Division
Toni Lyn Andres, first place
Jenna Gustafson, second place

9th-10th Grade Division
Rachel Doyle, first place
Maria Molina-Espinosa, second place

11th-12th Grade Division
Olivia Sohlen, first place
Margaret Polzine, second place
Jennifer Harms, third place

The 5th Annual Flute Choir Showcase will be held at Wayzata Community Church featuring guest artist Ann Cameron Pearce.
