Flute Workshop at University of Minnesota Duluth
Duluth, MN June 17-19, 2015
The 1st Annual University of Minnesota Duluth Flute Workshop in Duluth, MN is a three-day flute event featuring some of the nation's finest flutists teaching repertoire classes, orchestral excerpts, piccolo, techniques clinics, daily warmups and flute ensemble. This year's artists are Linda Chatterton, Yamaha Performing Artist and Dr. Paula Gudmundson, Assistant Professor of Flute at the University of Minnesota Duluth.
The workshop is open to university flutists, high school flutists, teachers, and amateurs. Daily concerts will feature teaching artists and members of the class. Participants will be playing in daily tone development, warm-up and technique development class. Performers will be playing in two masterclasses. All students will play in a chamber ensemble and receive a thirty minute mini- lesson with Dr. Gudmundson.
Performing applications are due by May 15th and participants application are due by June 1st.
