Two exciting, genre-bending trios are stopping by St. Paul for an evening of hybrid chamber music--New York City's Project Trio and Minneapolis' The Orange Mighty Trio, both comprised of virtuosic performers/composers, both pushing the boundaries of established music genres. This evening you may hear a mix of styles new and old, and perhaps even a surprise Nintendo cover tune, as the Orange Mighty Trio has delved extensively into video game scores, and beatboxing Project Trio flutist (Greg Pattillo) is a YouTube sensation with his version of the Mario theme! Come see the next generation of classically trained musicians breaking boundaries and coloring outside the lines!
