Rising Stars - Flute Fest 2026

Rising Stars is a live masterclass opportunity for students  under 18 years of age.

Bring any polished piece, etude, or excerpt (no accompaniment required) and receive live coaching! Space is first-come/first-served.

Registration Information:

• Students must be under 18 years of age. . 

• In order to participate in the Rising Stars Masterclass, students must register for Rising Stars, register for Flute Fest and become a member of UMFA (if not already a member) by April 6, 2026. UMFA membership and Flute Fest registration rates for students are each $25. There is no additional fee to participate in the Rising Stars Masterclass.

• Suggested performance time is no more than 3 minutes (excerpts of longer works are permitted).

• Rehearsal and performance times will be assigned by April 8.
